Retiree Apreciation Day (RAD)
We need volunteers to assist us in our booth for Retiree Appreciation Day. RAD is Saturday August 29th at Ellington Field. We will be serving both chocolate and vanilla cake as our team of volunteers invite attendees to join our ROA membership. Set up time is 0700, attendees arrive at 0800 and the event concludes at 1330.

RETIREE APPRECIATION DAY
You are cordially invited to participate in the 29th annual Military Retiree Appreciation Day (RAD) scheduled for 29 August 2026 from 0800–1330, at the Joint Forces Reserve Center, Ellington Field, Houston, Texas. Retirees from all services, surviving spouses, and their families benefit by attending because they can receive the latest information pertaining to their retirement benefits, and take advantage of the following: ID cards, free wills and legal services, and various immunizations. Additionally, representatives will be present from the Fort Sam Houston Retirement Services Office, City of Houston-Mayor’s Office, US Family Health Plan, USAA, Tricare and Delta Dental, VA Healthcare, Veterans Services, VA Cemetery, VA Regional Benefits Office, other health and military organizations.
Access to Ellington Field is strictly enforced.
